All Nippon plans to buy 60 planes Boeing for $5,7 billion



Second-largest Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) plans to spend nearby 600 billion yens (5,7 billion dollars) on purchase of about 60 new planes Boeing, differing by the raised profitability. Such data has been represented in the message of the company.
Earlier the information on it has appeared in the Japanese magazines, where it was said that that purchase of new planes will be carried out within four nearest years and will be directed on reduction of costs in connection with the high prices for fuel.
Last year All Nippon Airways became the champion by quantity of orders for the newest liner Boeing-787 Dreamliner. Meanwhile on January, 16th, 2008 it became known that the aviaconcern can transfer again terms of the first deliveries of a novelty on the international market. First time the delay of the beginning of deliveries of “the liner of dream” has been declared on October, 10th 2007. Then the concern has transferred deliveries of the first air liners to customers since May for November-December 2008 that is 6 months later initially planned term.
Company Boeing has presented new air liner Boeing-787 Dreamliner in the beginning of July 2007. Dreamliner quickly became the most popular on sale civil plane in history of concern: in the beginning 2008 the corporation has received orders for construction of 802 aircrafts.
Airline All Nippon Airways Co. works in the market of air transportations since 1952.

Mozambique is the most attractive to tourists



The sultan governed country Oman has been included in the list of the best countries for visiting by tourists owing to new hotels and the careful environment protection.
The tourist portal Concierge.com has included Oman into top-10 of the best countries. New hotels, environment protection - all this has played defining role at acceptance of this decision.
Oman attracts tourists first of all with the untouched nature: ecological and cultural tourism - golden card of the country. Traditional east markets, dazzling deserts, quiet oases, impassable mountains, untouched sandy beaches - and fine weather all the year. In November Airline Oman Air has entered new flights into the Europe and Asia in order to cope with a stream of tourists.
Peter J. Frank, the editor-in-chief of site, has informed, that many destinations included in the list, have undergone to basic changes for last years.  According to his words in Mozambique, for example, 15 years ago there was a bloody civil war, now it has turned to paradise for diving and a safari.
Even Paris is being changed: the city does accent not on world famous sights, but on the modern art and design. Places known for a long time - and recent opening, for example, Oman and the Chinese island Hainan - have made the fine list.

The number of cruises to Cuba has sharply reduced



According statistics, since 2005 the quantity of cruises to Cuba has reduced on 90 %: Fidel Castro has considered, that cruise vessels only litter the Caribbean waters. Thus, in 2007 by the ship Cuba was visited only by 11000 tourists - in comparison with 102000 two years ago.
The Cuban government has terminated the contract with the Italian company, which supervised cruise offices on the Island, and the largest cruise organizations, including Royal Caribbean, have excluded Cuba from the routes on the Caribbean islands. This year forecast is also unfavorable: it is expected, that from January till April only by 12 courts, mainly British and German, the will visit the Island.
Maybe, because of this last year 3,5 % less tourists, than in 2006, visited Cuba. The profit of tourist sector has made $2 billion 209 million, that is on 0,6 % less, than in 2006. Sources in the Ministry of tourism of Cuba have named 2007 “unprofitable” and have declared, that Cuba can lose one of the leading tourist resorts at the Caribbean Coast, having conceded leadership to Dominican Republic and the Mexican resort Cancun.

First ecologically pure airport of a southern hemisphere



International airport of New Zealand Christchurch became the second “carbon-neutral” airport in the world. It is the first airport it the first airport in southern hemisphere, which has received “the green letter”. Earlier such certificate has been given Swedish airport LVF in Stockholm. The certificate speaks that carbon emission into environment is minimal. Harmful gas emission from planes is not included.
After careful checks and detailed measurements of research, carried out by institute Landcare, airport Christchurch International has received Carbon Zero certificate.
For reception of carbon zero certificate, the airport should measure a level of carbon emission, develop the plan on its reduction and trace results while they will not come up to zero mark. For preservation of the certificate the airport should spend annual gaugings of carbon emission and give the report. So, the company has reduced quantity of harmful emissions and widely applied programs of dust processing. They have transformed diesel heating systems and used an old road covering for repair of runways.
Minister on tourism hopes, that the new status will attract more foreign visitors to the country, in fact, the theme of ecological compatibility is very important now.
In 2006-2007 Airport Christchurch International has received 5,5 million visitors .

InterContinental will open new hotel in Milan



Hotel Grand hotel Duomo in Milan is being closed on repair, after which it will be represented under a new brand - InterContinental. The building, in which the hotel is placed, has been constructed in 1860. Grand Hotel Duomo has been opened in 1950 and such known visitors, as British quartet The Beatles and American writer Ernest Hemingway used to stay there. The hotel possesses 137 stylish room-numbers, including 17 suites, in which, owing to traditions of InterContinental’s hospitality, both businessmen and tourists will feel comfortable.
The restaurant, which is located on a ground floor of hotel, will offer lodgers not only the various menu, but also pleasant music. The lodgers will be also offered spa-and wellness centers, three conference halls and many other things.

Serbia can conflict with EU because of Kosovo



Serbia is measured to accept a number of reciprocal measures in case of recognition of Kosovo’s independence by the western powers. Representatives of Serbia have informed that decrease in a level of diplomatic relations with the USA and the countries of the European Union are considered as one of possible measures.
Besides Belgrade doesn’t accept idea of intervention of peace-making mission of EU in Kosovo until, question on the status of the region will be solved. According to representatives of Serbia, EU’s mission will break the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Republic Serbia.
On December, 19th, UNO’s Security Council discussed last report of “three” of the international intermediaries (EU, Russia, the USA) and has heard performances of the prime minister of Serbia and the president of Kosovo. The USA and the European Union have declared on results of a meeting, that the potential of the international negotiations under the status of Kosovo has settled it at all.
At the same time Russia has again offered UNO’s members to consider the problem on continuation of negotiations under the status of Kosovo.
