New beer resort in Czech Republic
New beer resort has been opened in the Czech Beskids. Three-star hotel Bahenec in city Písek u Jablunkova in the Frýdecko-Místecko region offers tourists to take a bath in real wooden flank, filled by beer. During procedure the visitors will be given mugs with a foamy drink so that they could estimate not only cosmetic, but also flavoring advantages of the Czech beer. Besides, a bath, tourists can also try wrapping in various products, which are used by manufacture of beer, malt pomace and ointments with hop.
The owner of hotel Alexandr Hradil has borrowed idea at the Austrian colleagues from company Bier Bottich Bad (BBB), who have opened a similar resort more then ten years ago. In Alexander Gradila’s opinion, new service will allow to increase to make hotel, visited not only in the summer, but also in the winter.
Resort in hotel Bahenec - is already the third institution in Czechia, offering cosmetic procedures on the basis of beer. Last year the first-ever beer spa-center has opened, and this summer the second beer resort has been opened.

Six-star hotel in Scotland
Six-star Hotel Argyle International will be located in business area of Glasgow.
Argyle International is a 26-storeyed building and it will offer160 room-numbers and 68 suits and two presidential suits, and on the top floor the bar, from which the magnificent kind on city will open, will be placed. Besides, the hotel will have restaurant, a conference hall, the spa-center and 630 capacity people banquet hall.
Construction works will begin in 2008, and will come to the end in 2010. Authorities consider that with the advent of new hotel tourists flow to the city will increase.
Since January 2007, in the Great Britain in all guidebooks on the country the information on hotels is given on the basis of new standards, which are based on five-star system and for the first time in history classify all hotels on the uniform sample. As local mass- media inform, all regional tourist divisions of the Great Britain will follow henceforth to “National standards of the quality assurance” by means of which all hotels of the Kingdom will be anew classified till the end of 2008.
Simultaneously with it changes have caused also occurrence of new categories of hotels. For example, so-called metro hotel represents the hotel located in city centre, which offers its lodgers corresponding convenience and services, but owing to economic inexpediency has no own restaurant. According to representatives of British tourist industry, owing to new system, already absolutely soon tourists will know what exactly they will receive, coming to this country.

Slovakia waits for tourists at Christmas fairs
On November, 23rd in 15-th time Christmas fair, very popular among the townspeople and tourists, which will be prolonged till December, 23rd opens in Bratislava. Markets will be arranged at the Market and Franciscan areas in city centre. it will be possible to get souvenirs, to try a dish of national kitchen and local drinks at 106 booths. The visitors will be offered traditional Slovak flat cakes from the potato test with goose liver or cabbage, fried sausages, pork, duck, sauerkraut soup, bread with bacon and onions, meat and the fish dishes prepared in a grill, and also typical celebratory drinks: hot wine, honey wine, grog and punch. From a batch visitors can try strudels - apple, poppy, nut, cottage cheese; honey and gingerbreads. It will be forbidden to sell and to drink strong alcoholic drinks and beer.
At fairs it will be possible to get Christmas souvenirs - products from leather, glasses, ceramics, willow rods, a tree, leaves of corn, beeswax and other materials. The celebratory atmosphere will be created by actors, and also national handicraftsmen, who will show their skills.
Similar Christmases markets will be opened at all large cities of Slovakia.

Hungary refuses fine coins
In March, 2008 one and two forints coins will be withdrawn from circulation in Hungary. As results of the interrogation, lead by the Hungarian National bank (Magyar Nemzeti Bank), show three quarters of the Hungarian citizens agree with such decision of authorities. So, 64 % of interrogated are not afraid, that withdrawal of a trifle somehow will affect their financial position, 11 % hope for positive changes and only one third considers, that it will improve a financial situation of banks.
When coins will be withdrawn from circulation, banks will establish special devices, which will count and sort coins. All interested persons can exchange a trifle, having received in exchange “running” denominations.

Teddy bears’ exhibition in Prague
Exhibition of teddy bears has opened in the main building of the Museum of city of Prague (Muzeum hlavniho mesta Prahy). Nearby 500 both modern and antiquarian toys, the oldest of which is almost 100 years old - the bear has been made in 1910- are represented there. The collection is exposed in a museum, which belongs to private collector. Now the collection has approximately two thousand bears, and the most interesting exhibits are presented at the exhibition.
The museum of city of Prague is located in area Prague 1, near to station of underground Florenc - lines B and C. It is possible to visit it daily, except for Monday, from 9.00 till 18.00 and till 20.00 each first Thursday of month. Entrance ticket to exhibition costs 80 crones (about 3 euros), the family ticket costs 160 crones (about 6 euros), for students and invalids - 30 crones (1 euro). The exhibition will work till March, 2nd, 2008.

Unusual museum will be soon opened in China
The museum will be located under the water and the ship, which has sunk more 800 years ago, will become the main exhibit.
Archeologists have for a long time thought how to keep a vessel, and have decided that it is necessary to leave it in those conditions, in which it has been found out. The ship is on 24 meters depth. The underwater museum will have 5 halls. Except for the ship, it will be possible to see treasures, which scientists have found out in its holds.

Qatar prepares for using into gas fuel in the aircraft
Qatar has started to study the opportunities of using of natural-gas liquefaction as aviation fuel in the civil aircraft.
In Dubai Qatar Oil Company, companies Shell and Rolls-Royce, European aviaconcern Airbus have signed the agreement on development of the feasibility report on the project of translation of planes from traditional kerosene on “blue fuel” with Qatar passenger airline Al Qataria.
As it has become known, work above the project will be prolonged for some years. Experimental flights of liners with gas refueling will be lead In Qatar.
Al Qataria will become the first-ever aviation carrier using new, friendly nature and cheaper, than a kerosene.

Christmas exhibition will be held in Prague
This Friday interesting Christmas exhibition will be opened in Prague. It will be arranged in the form of so-called dens - the doll Christmas theatres are widespread in many Catholic countries till now.
At exhibition in Prague the best copies of amateur figures created with XVIII till our time, including a modest den of XIX century from Southern Czech, which has for long time served as object of reverence in one of local churches, will be presented. Besides, there it will be possible to get acquainted with process of manufacturing of figures of a paper, clay and molded paper. The exhibition will be opened till January, 6th, 2008; the money, received for entrance, will go on the charitable purposes.

Cruise companies ask their clients to pay in addition for trips
The prices for cruises of some leading cruise companies will increase because of introduction of the fuel extra charge. In connection with sharp increase in the prices for fuel companies Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises, entering into holding, are to enter the fuel extra charge at the rate of $5 from the person into day for cruises with date of departure since February, 1st, 2008.
However, in order to avoid conflicts with their clients, some cruise companies have gone on many concessions’ measures. So, the fuel extra charges will not be raised from the clients, who have already paid for the cruise. If cruise has been reserved till November, 16th, 2007, the tourist can cancel reservation till December, 7th, 2007 and receive full cost back. The extra charge will be raised only from the first and second passenger of a cabin and will not exceed $70 from the person for cruise. Besides, those, who will pay the extra charge, will receive gifts from cruise companies.
As it has become known cruise company Silversea will also enter surcharge for fuel at a rate of 10 dollars per day. The extra charge will be raised from each passenger of the cabin.
