Competition to Boeing

Chineses are going to start manufacture of own huge air liners.
The last Sunday became day of an official birth of the new company which field of activity will include manufacture of capacious passenger planes on 150 and more landing places.
Engineers and aircraft designers of the country earlier have already mastered assembly of small air courts - more recently, last December, first of them was represented. And this autumn 90-seater planes will already start service passengers on local aviaroutes.
All these initiatives can be explained by China’s intention to find independence of foreign manufacturers, in particular, American company “Boeing”, which planes transport about half of passengers in the country.
According to analysts, in the near future Chinese aviabuilding companies will be engaged in this business- in fact continuous growth of passenger aviatransportations quantity, observed all over the world, causes demand  for additional air liners.

The largest park in the Europe will be opened in Iceland

Next month in Iceland the biggest in the Europe national park Vatnajokull which area borrows thirteen percent of territory of the country (half of territory of the Wales) will be opened.
The landscape of park is extremely various. In territory more than three millions acres high-mountainous plateaus, volcanoes, streams, gorges, sandy plains, the rivers, lakes are located.
Mighty Falls Detifoss, the most extensive European glacier Vatnajokull, and also seven volcanoes, the majority from which operating, are among the main sights. In park hotel centers, tourist bases are constructed, foot routes are carried out.
The status of national park will allow Vatnajokull to avoid excessive urbanization and pollution that will keep it for the future generations. It is supposed, that more than 40 000 tourists will visit the park a year.

Starwood opens magnificent hotel on Mauritius

On June, 1st, Hotel group Starwood Hotels and Resorts opens hotel Grand Mauritian Resort and Spa in the northwest of island Mauritius.
As it has become the hotel will have 193 room-numbers, including - suits and junior suits. This hotel will become the first hotel of mark Luxury Collection in Indian Ocean. The architectural decision of hotel is determined by moorish traditions and philosophy. At construction tree and the volcanic breeds extracted on island were used.

One more boutique-hotel has been opened in Dubai

New boutique-hotel Raffles Dubai has been opened in Dubai. The 19-storeyed building is constructed in the form of the Egyptian pyramid. The hotel is located near to the trading complex Wafi, offering unlimited opportunities of shopping and entertainments.
All 248 Raffles Dubai room-numbers and suites have balconies with panoramic view. 11 restaurants and bars offer their visitors the choice of the refined dishes of various cuisines.
The hotel offers 11 greater trunk-call rooms, a banquet hall capacity 500 people, modern business center for arrangement of business meetings and conferences.

Vietnam: tourists have appeared in an epicenter of flooding

More than 2 thousand foreign tourists have appeared in an epicenter of flooding in the central part of Vietnam, caused by torrential rains.
Water cut off approaches to roads and tracks from those areas, where there are tourists now.
The storm rains proceeding already of some weeks, became the reason of destruction of hundreds people. This flooding is already the fourth in this area for last month. At present the water level in some rivers has already reached the peak and has started to decrease slowly. However, as the meteorological service of the country has informed, rains still will proceed within the nearest two-three days.
As it has become known, coastal cities of Hue and Danang and the provinces of Quang Tri, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh are in the center of damaged zone. At present approximately 61 thousand houses, including 45 thousand in province Quang Ngai and 15 thousand houses in Danang have been flooded. In many villages the water level reaches 1,5-2,5 meters.

Chinese build the largest big wheel in the world

The biggest in the world the big wheel will appear in capital of China. As AFP, referring to the state mass-media, informs, construction of a design in height in 208 meters will be finished in 2009. A wheel under the name “Beijing Sky Boat” will rotate 48 capsules, each of which is calculated upon 40 people. Construction will manage to Chinese in 99 million dollars.
On a site of company The Great Wheel, which is engaged in construction of an attraction, it is spoken what it will be opened in August, 2008, at the beginning of the Olympiad. However, according to sources in the company, construction is rather tightened. After opening the Peking wheel its smaller 165-meter copy will be constructed in Singapore.
The Chinese press marks, that visitors of park Chaojan can admire a fine view of the city by means of “heavenly boat”. However, AFP marks, that visibility in Peking from time to time does not exceed several hundreds meters because of polluted air.
Today the highest big wheel is constructed in Gret Britain- British attraction London Eye -which height makes 135 meters.

France
The lowest level of diseases of heart, which are considered as the main reason of death rate, is observed in France. Experts explain this fact by slow absorption of food and a daily glass of wine: yes, the French diet is traditionally rich with fats and carbohydrates; however, it is used slowly, in the small portions and is washed down with the moderate quantity of wine.
Iceland
