New Zealand has headed one hundred of the best tourist directions of the world, and the Greek island Rhodes is recognized the most popular vacation spot in the Europe.
Despite of a present economic crisis, rise in price for fuel, concern of ecological situation in a number of corners of the world, from time to time arising chaos at the airports, the passion to travel does not die away. Tourism is still popular.

Winter has come to Southern Africa

This year winter has come to Southern Africa unusually early. Contrary to ordinary statements about “eternal heat in the countries of this continent, already today in Dragon Mountains on border from Lesotho the first snow has fallen.
According to meteorologists today the average temperature made about zero and in the central province of the country two people become the victims of snow storm. It is not excluded that the winter will start with snowfalls and low temperatures. The winter of the last year which, as well as is necessary in the Southern hemisphere, lasted from May till September, has stood out the most severe for long years.
Weather forecasters promise, that this year the winter can once again surpass all records. However, last months have brought a lot of climatic riddles: the season of rains has stood out extraordinary plentiful and has not come to the end till now, having tightened more than for a month against usual. Till last days the heat was also observed. As a result transition period from summer to the winter has occurred more than sharply - in one day at all without autumn.

Russian tourists have found new vacation spot

Indonesia has come on change to Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt. The number of the Russians, who are having a rest on Bali, grows year from a year.
For first two months 2008 13,4 thousand Russians have visited Bali. It is on 37 % more, than for the similar period of 2007 (9,8 thousand tourists). In general, in 2007, 36,9 thousand Russians have visited Bali and it is on 47 % more, than in 2006.
Tourists from Russia - are on the seventh place by quantity among the foreigners, who are having a rest at Bali. For first two months of 2008 294 thousand foreign tourists have visited Indonesian island.
Popularity of rest in Bali among Russians has reached already such high level that in 2008 consulate of Russia will be opened on the Island. Besides, authorities of Indonesia promised to promote the Russian cinematographers removing the films on islands.
While, interest to Indonesia(among Russians) continues to grow. Nevertheless, Russians prefer to spend their holidays in turkey and, as it has become known, in 2007 1,9 million Russians have visited this country.  Egypt (1,25 million) is on the second place in a rating of popularity.

The day time club will be open in Las Vegas

Well-known company MGM Grand will open the first club under name Wet Republic, which will function only in the afternoon, in Las Vegas. It is intended first of all for glamour beach parties’ fans: Wet Republic will offer eight pools, including two sea water pools, VIP-bungalow pool, dancing pool, waterfalls, tropical bar and magnificent restaurants, and also SPA-interior. The club can be visited from 10.00 till 18.00.
As organizers prove, Wet Republic will enjoy huge popularity: many visitors of Las Vegas wish to have a good time twenty-four hours straight. Besides in club “star” concerts, show with participation of celebrities and incendiary parties under music of the best DJs will be held. In bungalow the visitors will be offered personal pools, huge telescreens, video shop, mini-bar and many other things. At restaurant visitors can try firm dishes - such, as lobster or papaya and crabs.

Free-of-charge Wi-Fi will appear in Madrid buses

Madrid transport company EMT is going to enter new service for passengers in city buses. They can shortly use free-of-charge access to the wireless Internet.
Points of access will be equipped on the most popular routes prior to the beginning of summer and if the project will be successful Wi-Fi will appear in all buses of city.
In order to take advantage of free-of-charge service, the passenger should enter the password or a code, which can be received in booths of sale of bus tickets.
The equipment of buses with wireless Internet is a part of the city program on transport technological development for 2008-2011. It provides transition to harmless fuel, creation of transportation conditions of handicapped people, activization of service e-bus, owing to which the passenger can learn an arrival time of the nearest bus, and many other things by means of sms-inquiry.

Nepal authorities have forbidden selling alcohol

Tourists, who plan to visit Nepal within the nearest week, should consider that in connection with forthcoming elections in legislative assembly in the country sale and manufacture of alcoholic drinks and movement on the country on public and private transport is forbidden.
Such unprecedented measures have been accepted by authorities in order to prevent flash of violence over the free elections first for last 9 years in the country. Authorities are afraid of ethnic collisions in the south of Nepal and protests of inhabitants of the Tibetan enclaves in northwest. Meantime Nepal large changes are waiting: the assembly should make changes to the constitution and change a state system of the country, having transformed it in republic.
However, it will not be possible to lead completely nonalcoholic elections in Nepal, as the majority of local residents is made with spirits, and the basic share of the use of alcohol in the country is necessary on home-made alcohol drinks, and it is impossible to supervise its manufacture in the country.

The hotel in jen style has opened in Hong Kong

In Hong Kong the new hotel under name Jen, intended, under the statement of owners, for exacting travelers, who do not want to pay easy money for high quality, has opened. Jen is located in the West of city, nearby to the Hong Kong University and the entertaining centers.
The hotel totals 280 spacious room-numbers, including - suits, equipped with LCD TVs, iPod connector, high-speed Internet access, personal safes and hair driers. Suites include sitting room, kitchen, a wardrobe, shower and bathroom.
The design of all numbers is sustained, according to the name of hotel, in Jen style: wooden floors, high ceilings and light colors. In hotel also there is cafe “Jen”, where Asian dishes are offered; bars on first and last floors (from 18.00 till to visitors drinks free of charge submit); pool on a roof, gym and business center. Between hotel and the main stations of city the free-of-charge shuttle plies.

New resort complex in Vienna

The new resort Central Garden has appeared On the Danube channel in Vienna. The new vacation spot is located near to other Viennese sight - the unusual ship. The former cargo ship is 76 m length and 11 m width, moored in the region Schwedenplatz - Urania, is equipped by every possible pool and plank beds and another necessary accessories for qualitative beach rest. Onboard the ship numerous cafes and small restaurants with excellent kitchen are located. The new attraction Central Garden, which is including a mix of sports, culture and cookery, will be opened on May, 31st on the Danube channel in Vienna. Here athletic fields, solar terraces with plank beds and chaise lounges and weight of small cafes and restaurants are built. Also platforms for work of artists are planned. The new zone of rest will be opened on May, 31st, - directly ahead of the beginning of the football championship of the Europe. In Central Garden sports should play the important role. On the area in 200 square meters fields for mini-football, badminton and volleyball are built. The good entertaining program, so the organizers of new attraction are assured, is also stipulated and new leisure place will not be empty.

Warsaw is the most inhospitable Polish city

According to the interrogation, lead by Internet-portal TripAdvisor, tourists have named Warsaw, Bruxelles, Zurich, Oslo and Zagreb the most boring European cities. The opinion was also confirmed with participants of interrogation, which results were published by the newspaper Życie Warszawy.
As a rule, tourists complain about pure service at the restaurants in city, rough security guards at the night clubs, shortage of information items and small number of interesting galleries and museums. So, the German tourist has told, that having had a rest on arrival to hotel, in the evening he went to Old city to have supper at any restaurant with national kitchen. But everything was closed.
Other tourist, who has arrived to the Polish capital from France, has complained that he has found out only two galleries, where the Polish modern art is presented. He has not found the information on other showrooms. In the guidebook, bought at the airport, there was only a detailed story about the city and several monuments.
Tourists, who have spent Saturday night at the night clubs, have also remained dissatisfied.

Eiffel tower will be decorated with 1,2 ton “flower”

Architects have decided to give original gift to Parisians in a year of Tour d’Eiffel 120th anniversary. On the occasion of forthcoming anniversary on top of a tower the viewing platform, which design reminds a graceful flower will be added.
On one hand, the design of “flower” can cause various censures, both inhabitants of Paris, and its visitors, and on the other hand, the new platform will allow a tower to accept up to 1700 tourists per hour. Tourists should not wait long for the turn any more to see Paris from height of the bird’s flight.
Those who nevertheless oppose changes of traditional shape of a tower, calm that the expanded platform will crown a construction only temporarily.
Elegance of design will add openwork interlacing of metal beams which, on a plan of experts, will organically be entered in design of Tour d’Eiffel. Easy and strong material will make its very easy - only 1,2 tons. The probability is great, that the time platform in cost of 1,3 million euro will pay back quickly enough.
Authors of the project have not received the official consent to design yet. It is necessary to note, that in due time Tour Eiffel also became object of dispute of artists and writers of Paris, however, in due course the tower became not only an ornament of city centre, but also a pilgrimage place for millions people.
