13 best resorts of Italy
Tyrrhenian Sea is the best vacation spot in Italy according to the data of Italian ecological organization Legambiente and tourist association Touring Club Italiano.
Really, at coast of Tyrrhenian Sea there are many resort cities, which have won «5 blue sails» - these distinctions are awarded by Legambiente to the purest and most beautiful zones of rest, which are marked in the special guidebook «Guida Blu».
This year the maximum quantity of “ecological awards” was received by 13 resorts. These are the zones with the purest sea, magnificent landscapes, and faultless beaches. Besides, these places are well-known for art, historical and cultural heritage, and they are famous for excellent cuisine.
First place is given to the island Isola del Giglio second year successively, which is located in Tuscany. The second place has been given the Cinque Terre - in Laguria, the third - to the Domus de Maria, the fours - to the Baunei, the fifth - to the Posada - at the Sardinia, the sixth to Pollica - in area Campaign, the seventh - to Capalbio and eighth - to the Castiglione della Pescaia in Tuscany, the ninth - to the Nard and the tenthe - to Ostuni - in region Apulia, the eleventh - to Isola di Salina, the twelvth - to Noto, the thirteens to the San Vito lo Capo(Sicily).
