Traditional food
Chile is known for fruits and huge variety of vegetables - avocado, papaya, grapes, bananas and pineapples, tomatoes, cucumbers and every possible wood berries are grown up. Even kiwis have been specially delivered from New Zealand, and now it is also the Chilean product.
Chilean people like meat, especially hens. One of typical dishes represents soup from the hen with various spices, potato and noodles.
Local pies also are popular and the stuffing can be both meat, and olives, and a tuna. One more typical dish is soup from sea hedgehogs. And though it is possible to argue on its flavoring qualities, this dish is rich in iodine.
