EU has entered uniform emergency phone
Martin Selmayr, European Commission spokesman, has informed today that EU has entered uniform emergency phone 112, which is to be used in case of emergency in any of the countries of EU.
It is especially important for tourists. Now, if it is necessary, they can dial this number in any country and to receive help in the shortest term.
EU countries will independently decide whether to keep habitual for their citizens’ national numbers of firemen, rescuers, first aid and police inv case of uniform emergency phone number.
