WTTC: Top 10 Emerging Tourism Markets
At the International tourist exhibition in Berlin the World council of tourism and travel has promulgated the forecast of development of the world industry of tourism in 2007-2016.
In particular, the countries with most dynamically progressing tourist sector have been named. In Asia China and India will be the most active participants of the market, and resorts of Montenegro will make this country the most actively developing tourist country in Europe. Namibia and Brunei also possess big tourist potential.
WTTC has also formed the list, which includes 10 countries, which tourist sector will most promptly develop in 2007-2016. China heads the list - it is expected, that the tourist industry in this country will grow more than on 10 % annually.

2. Montenegro: 8.6 percent
3. India: 7.9 percent
4. Croatia: 7.8 percent
5. Democratic Republic of Congo: 7.8 percent
6. Vietnam: 7.5 percent
7. Romania: 7.4 percent
8. Namibia: 7.1 percent
9. Hong Kong: 7.0 percent
10. Chad: 7.0 percent

Said this on December 11th, 2008 at 10:49am:Namibia and Chad are a bit surprise entries for me…the Asians countries are ruling the tourism markets and will go on to rule for a long period ahead and one may see some more asian countries in this list of emerging tourism places…
