Ryanair refuses to recognize tickets
Largest European budgetary airline Ryanair has declared, that it will give up transportation of passengers, who have bought tickets through foreign sites. The company has declared that such sites-agitators, which are showing tariffs of its own site, complicate its work. The airline has also no opportunity to inform passengers about in such changes the schedule. Besides, under statement of Ryanair, in case of purchase of tickets through similar sites passengers pay not only the tariff, but also the commission to foreign site. Ryanair is measured to refuse in service to all passengers with such tickets since August, 11th.
About one year back Ryanair has officially refused to sell tickets through any sites, except for own web-site. In competitors opinion (easyJet airline), all these steps are caused by Ryanair’s unwillingness to lose the income of sale on the site in parallel with the air ticket and also accompanying products - insurances, booking of hotels and a car hire. EasyJet allows to reserve the tickets at other sites, but it raises 7,5 euros for it as indemnification of the missed benefit. The British magazine for consumers Which? has expressed indignation of Ryanair’s innovations. In its opinion, the airline doesn’t care about the interests of passengers for whom it will finish with failure of trips and holidays, when at their airport they will be put before the fact of tickets’ cancellation.
