US airlines have allowed their passengers to use Internet
Three US airlines have allowed their passengers to use Internet during internal flights. By means of special code, which may be bought just for $13, it is possible to enter into a world web already in taxi on road to the airport or on a way from parking to the terminal. New Gogo technology of company AirCell is providing Internet access at six large airports of the USA (New York and Newark, state of New Jersey).
By way of experiment European airlines Air France and KLM have allowed passengers, flying from to Amsterdam, to use mobile communication. Later this year to British Midland Airways, Portuguese TAP and budget Irish Ryanair are planning to follow their example.
It is also allowed to use mobiles phone on flights of Emirates airlines. By phone it is possible to speak practically all time of flight, except for take off or landing. Restrictions are imposed only on night flights. Besides, passengers are asked to transform their phones in silent mode.
