Biometric scanners at the EU airports this summer

This summer in a number of the airports of the world the passport control system, equipped only by scanners (without control service employees) for recognition of biometric data of the air passenger and its overlapping with those in the passport will be already established. , authorities consider that powerful machines will make passport control more quickly and better.
Such pilot project will be introduced this summer for the European Union countries and the Great Britain. Passengers with new biometric passports will pass through scanners.
Nevertheless, it is not excluded that some passengers can negatively react to result of their check given by machine. It is supposed, that such passengers can rise in usual turn to the officer of passport control who has powers to pass the passenger at own discretion, using the additional information and instructions. The matter is that machines-scanners are adjusted on absolutely closing pass for police services appearing in lists, but the applied technology supposes some segment for mistakes concerning people, who are being under suspicion. As a result the machine can give refusal, but there are no acknowledgements - they do not appear in the lists.
