Shopping in London is on 26 % more expensive, than in New York
According to the research, lead by economists of Swiss bank UBS, the European cities become the most expensive in the world. The three leading cities are London, Copenhagen and Oslo, and the fourth place has been given to Dublin. The American cities, on the contrary, hand over positions because of easing dollar: New York has borrowed only 18th place, having conceded to Tokyo and Bruxelles.
As researchers approve, shopping in London will manage on 26 % more expensive, than in New York. Concerning the Asian cities, here the first place has been given to Tokyo; it is followed by Seoul, Singapore and Hong Kong. Cheap cities are Kuala Lumpur, Buenos Aires and Mumbai. For local residents the rating looks a little in another way: London, Oslo and Copenhagen and New York: cost of real estate rent in these cities is very high. The highest salaries are noted in Zurich, and the lowest - in Jakarta, Deli and Mumbai.
