Six-star hotel in Scotland



Six-star Hotel Argyle International will be located in business area of Glasgow.
Argyle International is a 26-storeyed building and it will offer160 room-numbers and 68 suits and two presidential suits, and on the top floor the bar, from which the magnificent kind on city will open, will be placed. Besides, the hotel will have restaurant, a conference hall, the spa-center and 630 capacity people banquet hall.
Construction works will begin in 2008, and will come to the end in 2010. Authorities consider that with the advent of new hotel tourists flow to the city will increase.
Since January 2007, in the Great Britain in all guidebooks on the country the information on hotels is given on the basis of new standards, which are based on five-star system and for the first time in history classify all hotels on the uniform sample. As local mass- media inform, all regional tourist divisions of the Great Britain will follow henceforth to “National standards of the quality assurance” by means of which all hotels of the Kingdom will be anew classified till the end of 2008.
Simultaneously with it changes have caused also occurrence of new categories of hotels. For example, so-called metro hotel represents the hotel located in city centre, which offers its lodgers corresponding convenience and services, but owing to economic inexpediency has no own restaurant. According to representatives of British tourist industry, owing to new system, already absolutely soon tourists will know what exactly they will receive, coming to this country.
