Pentax for underwater photohunting



Company Pentax has represented a camera for fans of the “beach” rest, capable to work under water. Unlike the previous models of a series “W” Optio W30 novelty is capable to function on depth up to three meters within two hours. The case of a camera is made of an easy and strong metal alloy, and the lens of an objective is covered by the special water-repellent covering Super Protect, developed by Pentax, owing to which drops of water do not leave traces on optics. The novelty has no external mobile parts and is protected from influences of dirt and a dust (JIS 5).
The camera 7-megapicsel matrix and a 3-fold not sliding optical zoom-objective and 2,5 inches LCD-monitor with a special covering, allowing to work  comfortably with it even at a bright sunlight. Owing to the digital stabilization image mode (Digital SR) Optio W30 can automatically analyze terms of shooting and pick up optimum parameters of sensitivity (up to 3200 ISO) and also to smooth digital noise. Besides, standard modes of shooting model Optio W30 has interval shooting function. Time of switching on and an interval between the film-making moments is set manually.
Interval shooting is limited only by the accumulator resource, and the chamber will prompt, how many photos it will be possible to take. The chamber function of auto focusing with a priority of sharpness of the person is stipulated for portraits shooting. The device independently distinguishes faces of people and automatically arranges focus and corrects an exposition without dependence from position of people within the limits of the photo and background contrast.
