La Semaine du gout in France
La Semaine du gout is being held in France. La Semaine du gout (The national tasting week) is a holiday which is being celebrated for already the 18th time. All regions of the country participate in it. The program of the holiday is quite intensive and interesting at the same time, it includes lectures, master-classes known the chief-cooks, competitions among masters of culinary art, and the main thing - the special menu at many restaurants of Paris, Lyons, Marseilles, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lylle, Rennes, Nantes, Rouen, Strasbourg, and also other cities.
Visitors of restaurants can not only estimate skill of cooks, but also, at desire, visit the lesson of taste, where professionals will learn them to make the refined menus. Some traditional dishes not only wonder with their delicious taste, but have also strange names, for example: andouillette, tête de veau, andouille, tripe, foie gras, fromage de tête, museau.
La Semaine du gout will be prolonged till October, 21st.
