Czech shops have been already engaged into pre-Christian marathon and have opened sale of Christmas-tree decorations and celebratory souvenirs. Ikea network and shops of the goods for the house and garden Baumax, where various spheres, garlands, toys, and also Christmas gifts, a brown paper and traditional dens are being represented, have turned out the leaders in this Christmas marathon.
Within the next few days the New Year’s goods will start to be on sale at other shops. As it is usual, on October, 17th, supermarkets Tesco will open all greater Christmas section. Besides habitual ornaments and green fur-trees, shops will offer one more novelty - fur-trees of black color. Gloomy, at first sight, New Year’s trees became a hit of a season of 2006 in New York, and as it has appeared, Czechs have liked the idea of so unusual Christmas decor.
Besides one of these days the section of the New Year’s goods in Electro World shops will be opened, and in the beginning of November Christmas sales will be started in Albert and Hypernova supermarkets.
