Physicians advise sex-tourists to get acquainted with statistics

Inflow of foreigners from the East Europe will, most likely, lead to that the number of venereal diseases in Czech Republic will increase. Are those, according to guidebook The Czech Walker, is the unreasonable fear of Czech physicians. Third of revealed cases of a syphilis is revealed at foreigners who has been living in Czech Republic for a long time.
Therefore tourists, who consider Czech Republic as the sex-tourism country, it is necessary to familiarize closely with statistics on the revealed venereal diseases.
According to department of medical statistics, last year 502 cases of syphilis have been registered in Czech Republic that is on 5 % less, than in 2005.
The syphilis basically is revealed at men at the age of 30-34 year-old, among women the basic contingent is represented with girls till 30 year-old.
On a background of syphilis decrease another dangerous disease - gonorrhea - grows. 1082 cases of this disease, that is on 25% more than in 2005, have been revealed basically at youth of 25-29 year-old.
The medical organizations, working with sex-industry “employees”, inform, that disease of gonorrhea has also significantly grown within the last few years.
Sex-business is getting civilized in Czech Republic.
Sex-tourism in Czech Republic has become obvious only after 1989 and reputation of tourist “sex-direction” was fixed after 1994.
Sex for money here -is the big business. Among cities of the East Europe Prague is recognized by the most suitable for sex-tourism with “traditionally good choice at reasonable prices”.
According to from different sources, from 10 000 up to 25 000 prostitutes work in Czech Republic.
