Russian capital is officially recognized the most expensive city in the world, but it is not still the leader of the most fashionable mega cities. Research Company Global Language Monitor has made a rating of twenty five most fashionable cities of the world, according to which 3 lines were given to the American cities, 4 European and 3 Asian cities.
Californian company Global Language Monitor makes annually ratings of the most fashionable cities of the world, tracing words and phrases on the English-speaking Internet sites. Relaying on linguistic base - frequency, context uses of words and their occurrence in global media-sources, it has named the most fashionable city of the world -New York, which has even surpassed Paris - a traditional cradle of a fashion. Other two American cities, star Los Angeles and “city of sins” Las Vegas, have also entered in ten “dandies”, having accordingly borrowed 7th and 9th places.
Paris has occupied only the third position in 2007, having passed forward Rome (2nd place). London has got on the 4th place, and Milan has closed the five of leaders. Hong Kong, which has occupied the 8th place, became the most fashionable South-Asian city, and the African continent has been presented by Johannesburg (republic of South Africa), which has located on the 23rd place. the Polish Krakow which became the last, having conceded the best places to Shanghai, Buenos Aires and even Santiago have managed to get into the list of fashionable cities.

I CANNOT STAND EITHER CITY AND THE PEOPLE ARE AS APPALLING AS ONE CAN FIND ANYWHERE. BOTH HAVE ATTRACTED THE DREGS OF HUMANITY TO THEIR ENVIRONS. BEING WEALTHY DOES NOT MAKE CITIES STYLISH OR FASHIONABLE.
