India has closed air space for Russian planes



Recent Russian-Indian conflict has shocked all aircraft market. Now Russian tourists and businessmen will face certain difficulties in flying to India. The matter is that India has closed the air space for the Russian planes. The corresponding application has been made by the ministry of civil aircraft of Russia.
As Indian aircraft representatives inform, the decision on closing air space was accepted after Russia has informed India that after June, 15th, the Indian planes will be forbidden to cross the Russian air space.
Thus it is necessary to consider, that if Moscow has beforehand warned Delhi about the termination of flights the Indian authorities have declared, that their decision inures immediately.
Any comments from the Russian party in occasion of the developed situation have not been given.
Russia’s decision of to block the air space for the Indian planes is connected by the fact that the term of the previous arrangements on the given question expires in the nearest future, and the date of negotiations on prolongation of agreements has not been appointed yet.
