Singapore forbids liquids and drinks in hand luggage
On May, 8th, 2007, restrictions on transportation of liquids and drinks in hand luggage of air passengers will be introduced in Singapore. They will be similar to the measures, applied in Northern America, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Egypt, Brazil and a number of other countries. The only exception will be the sanction to transportation of empty bottles and other capacities in volume of more than 100 ml.
The capacities, containing liquids, drinks, gels and creams, they can be no more than 100 ml. The exception will be made for medicines and a children’s feed. At the airport of Singapore tables for the passengers, wishing repack the luggage, are established, and new rules are also hung out. Besides about 100 employees of the airport the will work in a hall of a start, helping passengers to understand the peculiarities of new situation.
