7 best inexpensive hotels of Amsterdam (Part 2)

5. Lloyd - £95
Almost everything, that is known about “Lloyd”, - are the unconfirmed facts. In 1920-1940s it was a boarding house for emigrants who expected flights for departure to America.
Now it is the civilized hotel, where the concerts, exhibitions and meetings with celebrities are being periodically held. All the room-rooms are not ordinary, a different level - from 1 *, where one bathroom for several room-numbers is offered, up to 5 *, located almost in a penthouse with own bathroom. The price of the last one is about £250.
Breakfast is served in a huge hall, and here the morning menu is even better than at some more expensive hotels: you can choose not the program breakfast, but the concrete dishes, and the separate table will be served for you.
Lloyd is in ten minutes of walking from the East docks. Motorcycles became the special service of the hotel. Lloyd offers 117 room-numbers.
6. Piet Hein - £104
Piet Hein - is the magnificent hotel, constructed in XIX century and it is located near to Van Gogh’s museum. Here a magnificent hall with a bar, traditionally decorated by tulips; leather sofas, coffee tables and always fresh press, and also the Internet-terminals with free-of-charge access is offered to lodgers.
The sea theme is everywhere: from black-and-white photos of racing yachts in a hall up to modern room-numbers, something similar to cabins of the ocean liner.
In a private residence room-numbers are cheaper, as they are smaller. In newer, XX centuries-building, room-numbers are larger and they have conditioners and they are more expensive - £118.
Choosing this hotel, it is necessary to specify in advance: owners of hotel conceive the next expansion, therefore your rest can be quite noisy. The hotel offers 60 room-numbers.
7. Canal House - £107
This hotel is most typical for Amsterdam and it is also the most old-fashioned hotel of the city. It consists of two buildings, constructed in XVII century. Numerous and illogical corridors and room-numbers have the diverse things and subjects of furniture adjoin: statues, pictures, engravings, house plants and fresh flowers.
£107 - is the price of the cheapest rooms and they are very small.
More worthy rooms, arranged by antiques, cost £130. By the way, if you pay off with cash, the five-percentage discount will be offered. In total Canal House offers 26 room-numbers.
